Zither brooch-update!

This one is heading out in the mail tomorrow, and over the last couple days I did a total overhaul on the strings. It required stripping off the old strings, re-working the “tuning posts”, and re-stringing. Totally worth it though. 

I switched from 28g to 30g wire which was much more amenable to stretching taughtly. I also changed to a figure 8 wrap at the pegs, which offfered a lot more stability. 

Big improvements in how parallel and tidy the strings are!!
