Calvin and Hobbs tie clip-progress pics

Here we go! It’s a start- this piece is detailed, but fairly easy in terms of construction. I’ll cut out all the necessary pieces to achieve the depth I’d like, and then add surface details with wire, chasing tools and etching. 

The pieces will all get soldered together, and then the tie clip will be soldered onto the back. 

To get started, I print out multiple copies of my template, created in illustrator. Then I can use it to cut out individual pieces to assemble later.
